Jesse Talks New Album

Check out what Jesse McCartney told J-14 Magazine about his yet-to-be-titled new album!

“This album has a wider range,” says Jesse. “The beats are hotter, the sound is more upbeat. It’s got the hook-y R&B flavor of the last record, but everything’s really amplified. I’m psyched for people to hear it.”

For the first two days of “Shake’s” release, it will be an exclusive free download on the iPod/iPhone music app, Tap Tap Revenge. For more info on “Shake” and the preview, read the previous post Preview “Shake”.

LISTEN: Jesse McCartney and Ludacris Collaborate on Remix

Posted by on January 15th, 2009 under Departure, Jesse News, Music

Platinum selling artist Jesse McCartney and Grammy winning rapper Ludacris have collaborated on the remix to McCartney’s single “How Do You Sleep?” – and People.com has the first listen of the track.

Listen to the Song Here:

The Sean Garrett produced mid-tempo track, off McCartney’s album Departure, chronicles the yearning that lingers after splitting from your first love.

“I’ve been a fan of Luda’s throughout his career, and having him on this track was an amazing honor,” McCartney says of the collaboration. “He’s innovative across the board and always brings the freshest lyrics to any track.”

The busy teen idol will embark on a tour in support of Departure next month. In March he’ll appear on an upcoming multi-episode arc on ABC Family’s Greek.
